Happy 7 months, Shelby

 

Dear Shelby,

 

Wasn't it just yesterday that I celebrated your 6 month birthday?  How a whole month has already passed is beyond me. You are growing so fast. Today, you are now a whole seven months old and I just can’t believe it. Its hard to believe that this much time has already passed until the first day you showed your face to the world. Time flies! The most common sentence I hear from Mama’s “enjoy every minute, because they grow up so fast”. Its true, I cannot believe you are already 7 months.

So many milestones concurred and I couldn't be a more proud mommy

You are using your fingers and you grasp everything.

You have two bottom middle teeth and love to babble.

You are reaching and pulling up.

You understand your name and "No-No", and I love how look back at me as if to say "what mom".

You are sitting up so well and roll constantly. You're not crawling just yet but I’m okay with that for now.

You are sleeping through the night, usually only waking once at night.

You can play by yourself and be perfectly content.

You are wearing 3-6 months clothes and size 1- 2 diapers.

You are drinking four, eight ounce bottles and holding your own bottle.

You are on solid foods and you are a eating machine.

You love watching your Baby Einstein videos.
 

Of course, the best part for me is waking you up, getting you ready and taking you to daycare and picking you up at the end of the day. Your face lights up when you see me and you get a huge grin on your face and start flapping your arms.  I can't ask for a better way to end my day than getting to see you.

Happy seven months my baby girl. I love you with my WHOLE heart and I am so thankful and still completely in awe that I have been blessed with such a beautiful, healthy and happy baby girl. You are everything I never knew I needed.
